Claude Gallant 1956 - 2008 SHEDIAC-RIVER - Claude Gallant, 51, husband of Marie-Ange, passed away suddenly at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Born on July 25, 1956, in Shediac, he was the son of the late Eugene Gallant and Florence Melanson. He was a carpenter and attended the La Visitation Roman Catholic Church Grande-Digue. He is survived by his wife, Marie-Ange Gallant; one son, Claude Gallant (Julie Coullier), Moncton; one daughter, Carole Gallant (Jean), Scoudouc; three brothers, Paul Gallant, Shediac, Hubert Gallant (Kathy), South Hampton, NS, Raymond Gallant (Betty), Moncton; one sister, Anne-Marie Morris (Myles), South Hampton, NS; four grandchildren, Nikita, Nadia, Mia, Jean-Marc; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Normand and Roger. Resting at Cooperative Funeraire Passage Funeral Co-operative, with visiting hours on Friday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm, Saturday 9:30am until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at Cooperative Funeraire Passage Chapel, Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 11am. Interment later in the La Visitation Roman Catholic Cemetery Grande-Digue.
