Kathleen "Kathy" J. Tower "A star shines brighter in heaven today Now that an angel is on her way" SACKVILLE, NB - With much sadness we announce the passing of Kathy Tower (47) which occurred at the Drew Nursing Home on May 6, 2008. Born in Sackville, NB Kathy was a daughter of the late Norman H. And Anne (Miller) Tower. Survived by her brother, Larry (Terry) Tower, Moncton; sisters, Shirley Ward and Beverly Leaman (Dean), Sackville, NB. In addition to her parents, Kathy was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Kenneth. Kathy had been a resident of the Drew for 25 years and this was her home and her caregivers were her extended family. If you ever had occasion to visit the nursing home, you were no doubt greeted by her smiling face and delightful "hello" upon arrival. Kathy was a very happy and lovable person and you could find her either in the hallways or visiting the other residents, always with the same smile on her face. Over the years Kathy participated in many activities at the Drew and the highlight of her year was the opportunity to attend camp for a week at Camp Rotary. Special thanks to Dr. Popma and the staff of Fundy Unit for their love, care and attentiveness to Kathy over the years. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506) 364-1300 where the funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11 am, Pastor Vernon Vickruck officiating.
