Lloyd Alexander Mitchell 1942 - 2008 Lloyd Alexander Mitchell, 66, Harcourt, NB, husband of Rita (Flanagan) Mitchell, passed away suddenly at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton, on Monday, May 12, 2008. Born in West Galloway, NB, he was the son of the late Walter Mitchell and the late Essie (Walsh) Mitchell. He worked in the woods as a machine operator. He attended St. Paul's Anglican Church, Browns Yard. He is survived by his wife, Rita (Flanagan) Mitchell; one son, Todd (Kim), Harcourt; three sisters, Grace Mitchell, Faye Mitton, both of Moncton, NB, Laverne Powers (Brian) of Riverview, NB; three brothers, Douglas (Caroline), Leonard (Marge) both of Galloway, NB, Wilbert (Marian), Edmonton, AB; sister-in-law, Dorothy, Galloway; four grandchildren, Matthew, Justin, Dalton, and Tanner; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Darren; and brother, Kenny. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visiting hours Wednesday, 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Browns Yard on Thursday, May 15th, 2008 at 2pm. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
