Paul Maillet

Paul Maillet 1949 - 2008 Paul Maillet, 59, of Sainte-Marie de Kent, has passed away at his residence surrounded by his family, on Friday May 16th, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton on April 1st, 1949, and raised in Sainte-Marie de Kent, he was the son of the late Néri Maillet and Annette (LeBlanc) Maillet of Sainte-Marie de Kent. He leaves to mourn his wife of 37 years, Anne-Marie (Caissie) Maillet; one daughter, Tania Collette (Julien); two sons, Paul-André, Martin (Astou Kaba); three sisters, Louise LeBlanc (Paul Constable) of Lakeville, Claudette Cormier (Ariste), Denise Mazerolle (Normand) both of Sainte-Marie de Kent; one grandson whom he loved very much, Alexi Collette. Paul is also survived by several nephews and nieces, Marc, Mario, Yves, Luc, Lisa, Julie, Jean-Pierre, Mathieu, René, Denis, Marcel, Bruno, Michel, and a grand nephew, Samuel; several uncles, aunts, and cousins. Paul was a civil engineer, and a member of the NB Professional Engineer Association, he was a coach for the Kent-South Minor Hockey, and a member of the Sainte-Marie de Kent Recreation Centre. Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church slumber room, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Monday May 19th, from 7 to 9, and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday May 20th, at 7:00 pm at the Sainte-Marie de Kent Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Paul's memory donations can be made to the Phare des Services Communautaire, the Extra-Mural, or to the Sainte-Marie de Kent Recreation Centre.
