Christina 'Tena' Morrison

98, Sydney/Antigonish Christina Morrison, 98, a resident of Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly a longtime resident of Whitney Pier, passed away Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at Glen Haven Manor. Born in Grand River, she was the daughter of the late Murdock and Katherine (MacDougall) MacCuspic. Tena was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Sydney. Surviving are her daughters, Agnes (Ted) Cogan and Norma (Cameron) MacKenzie, Antigonish; sons, Kenneth (Carol), Halifax, and Gordon (Christine), Antigonish; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Tena was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth, sister, Barbara MacLeod, brothers, Angus, Peter and Murdo. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel, Thursday, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday, 2 p.m. at Bethel Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Robert Lyle officiating.
