Stella Maillet 1931 - 2008 Stella Maillet, 77 of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Saint-Paul de Kent, has passed away after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family, at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste on Tuesday May 27th, 2008. Married to the late Hervé Maillet (2000), she was born in Bouctouche on February 17, 1931 to the late Cécime and the late Alice (LeBlanc) Collette. Stella was a labor at the "Pépinière de Saint-Paul" for several years before retirement. Stella is survived by her four children, Giselle Devito (Joe) of Bethany, CT, Bernard (Michele) de East Hartford, CT, Marcel (Thérèse) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Peter (Sharon) of Milford, MA; her five grandchildren, Aeron, Caleb, Nicholas, Natalie, Josh; three sisters, Edith LeBlanc (Ernest) of Saint-Paul, Huberte Bastarache of Saint-Lazare, Bernice Duplessis of Bouctouche; one brother, Aldéric (Rose-Marie) of Ayer, MA; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one sister, Emma and five brothers, Simon, Oscar, Guy, Elzée, and Alban. Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Thursday from 7 to 9, and on Friday at the Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Paul Church on Friday May 30th, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
