Jeannine M. (Arsenault) Belliveau Jeannine M. (Arsenault) Belliveau, 72, of East Hartford, peacefully passed away with her caring family by her side on Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Hospital for Special Care Satellite Facility at Mt. Sinai in Hartford. Born on July 10, 1935 in St. Paul, New Brunswick, Canada, a daughter of the late Frank and Christine (Cormier) Arsenault, she had been a resident of east Hartford since 1962. Jeannine began her professional career at Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford where she worked several years, prior to working over fourteen years at Aetna life & Casualty Insurance Company, Hartford where she retired from the State tax Department. Jeannine was an active communicant of St. Christopher Church, East Hartford where she was a member of the Prayer Shawl Group and Grandparents Club at the church school. Jeannine was a very artistic woman, especially painting and crocheting. She was a member of the Southend Senior Center in East Hartford and was active in their painting club. Jeannine was a generous and caring person who volunteered for the D.C.F. and Birthright, along with volunteering with her husband for Meals on Wheels and the House of Bread. She was also well known for her cooking and bird watching. Along with her parents a brother, Fred Arsenault of Smith Falls, Ontario, Canada, predeceased Jeannine. Besides her beloved husband, Yvon, Jeannine is survived by her two devoted and caring children, Richard J. Belliveau of East Hartford, Susan M. Lang and her husband, Tim, of Andover; a brother, Noel Arsenault and his wife, Aldea, of Gardner, MA; a sister, Aurore LeBlanc of St. Antoine, New Brunswick, Canada; two special adored granddaughters, Stephanie M. Belliveau of Andover and Rebecca R. Fitzpatrick of Tolland; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Funeral service will be Friday (June 6th) at 9 AM from the D'ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 AM at St. Christopher Church, 538 Brewer Street, East Hartford. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Thursday (June 5th) from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeannine's memory may be made to the Foundation of Special Care Inc., Hartford Satellite Unit Fund, 2159 Corbin Avenue, New Britain, CT 06053. Jeannine's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the entire staff at the Neuro/Trauma ICU-C9WI at Hartford Hospital along with everyone from the Hospital for Special Care-5th Floor of the Satellite Facility at Mt.
