Marie (LeBlanc) Belliveau -Arsenault 1922-2008 Marie (LeBlanc) Belliveau-Arsenault, 86, wife of Edmond Arsenault of Moncton passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital. Born March 10, 1922 in St-Anselme, she was the daughter of the late Dominique and Irène (LeBlanc) LeBlanc and her step-mother the late Phelida (Picard). Marie was a chartered member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary Council 1310, and a volunteer with the Assumption Cathedrale Parish. She was employed at Crown Diamond and Tibbett's Paint for many years prior to her retirement. She bowled with the St-Anselme Club d'Age d'Or and the Fairlane Bowling League, loved to play cards, sew and was a wonderful baker. Besides her husband, Edmond, she is survived by three sons, Conrad Belliveau (Lise) of Moncton, Normand Belliveau, Jean-Marc Belliveau of Alberta; two step-daughters, Yvette Garland (Jim) of Riverview, Louise Beers (Bob) of Moncton; four step-sons, Father Yvon Arsenault, Donald Arsenault (Renée Normandeau) and Maurice Arsenault all of Moncton, Michel Arsenault (Debbie Surette) of Dalhousie; two brothers, Omer LeBlanc (Jeannine) of Dieppe, Zoël LeBlanc (Marie-Louise) of Moncton; three sisters-in-law, Margaret and Rita LeBlanc both of Dieppe, Agnes LeBlanc of P.E.I.; two granddaughters, Natalie and Stephanie Belliveau; many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Roger Belliveau; and by three brothers, Yvon and his first wife, Clémentine, Noé, and Léonard LeBlanc. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton (858-1900) on Friday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. only. No visiting hours prior to the funeral on Saturday. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the Assumption Cathedral Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in St-Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery, Memramcook.
