It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecilia Greene announce her passing at her home in St. John's on Friday, August 15th in her 56th year. She will be sadly missed by her four brothers: Gerald of Australia, Pat and George of Edmonton Alta., Larry of London, Ont. and her three sisters Anna of Surrey B.C., Maureen of Long Island, NY and Carmelita of Deer Lake, N.L., her aunts Sr. Carmelita Power, St. John's and Lena Cunningham, Virginia, as well as her many nephews and nieces. Also leaving to mourn her special friends Diane and Sonny Buranasajja, Irene Tapper and Edna Pittman. She is predeceased by her loving parents Thomas and Mary Greene. Friends may visit at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia at the hours of 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, August 18th and Tuesday, August 19th from 12 noon to 1 p.m. The funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, August 19th at 2 p.m. ar Sacred Heart Church, Plancentia with interment to follow at Father Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
