Ralph J. Carter
Ralph J. Carter Ralph J. Carter, 66, of K. E. Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of McKees Mills, with his family at his side, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 following a lengthy illness. Born in Kouchibouguac, he was the son of the late James and Pearl (MacDonald) Carter. Ralph was a retired Merchandise Manager for General Motors Moncton, with 30 years service. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, working his hobby farm, politics, talking about General Motors and Kouchibouguac to his family and friends. Ralph will be remembered as a good father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend of many. Ralph's door was always open and inviting. He will be missed by all. Ralph will be sadly missed by his son, Scott (Annick), Moncton; grandchildren, Patrick Carter, Moncton, Holly MacLean, PE; former wife, Bernice (Hicks) Carter, Moncton; sisters, Mildred Carter, Violet O'Connor (late Joe), Audrey Collins (late Guy), Caroline Miller (Brian), Peggy Tidd (Ken), all of Moncton, Maime Glenncross (Vance), Rexton, Betty-Anne Potter (Melvin), Deep River, ON, Debbie Stewart (Craig), Kouchibouguac; brothers, Wesley Carter (Gwen), Riverview, Wayne Carter (Janice), McKees Mills; many special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, predeceased by his sister, Joyce Amos and brother, Victor. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Friday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm.
