Emery LeBlanc
Emery LeBlanc 1916 - 2008 Emery LeBlanc, 91 of Grand-Barachois passed away on Monday, June 16, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a brief illness. Born December 12, 1916 in Dupuis Corner, he was the son of the late Philias and Exelda (Cormier) LeBlanc. Emery was a retired carpenter and a member of the Grand-Barachois Club d'âge d'or. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 61 years, Laura (Lirette) LeBlanc, five daughters: Murielle Richard-Bourque (Noël) of Haute-Aboujagane, Simone LeBlanc (Pierre Dubuc) of Ste-Foy, QC, Jeanne LeBlanc (Charles Forest) of Grand-Barachois, Louise LeBlanc of Edmonton, Alberta, Rina Cassidy (Ben) of Shediac; three sons: Robert and Roland both of Grand-Barachois, Marc (Pauline) of Edmonton, Alberta; twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Adrice and by three sisters: Émilia, Julianne, and Lina. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure 10:40 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Saint-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
