Edward G. (Jack) Gould Edward G. (Jack) Gould, 86, of Moncton, with his family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday morning, June 23, 2008, following a sudden illness. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Roy and Fonda (MacStay) Gould. Jack was former President and owner of Wallace Warehouse & Cartage Ltd., Moncton Moving & Storage, Center City Cartage, Dufferin Warehousing Ltd., Warehousing Services Ltd., Atcan Travel Services and attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church. He was Past President of Community Foundation of Greater Moncton, Moncton Kinsmen Club, St. Patrick's Family Centre, Greater Moncton Service Club Council, Moncton (City) Club and Moncton Probus Club; past director of Allied Van Lines Ltd., Canadian Association of Movers, Moncton Rotary Club, Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau of New Brunswick, Victorian Order of Nurses, Ability Transit, Canadian Rehabilitation Counsel of Disabled, Moncton Boys & Girls Club and Moncton Minor Hockey Association. Member of The Moncton Club, Moncton Probus Club, Moncton Press Club, Air Force Veterans Club and YMCA Century Club. He enjoyed travelling and spending quality time with his family. Jack will be sadly missed by his daughters, Fonda Kazi (Kamil), Quispamsis, Janet Bishop, Linda Gould (Don O'Connor), Karen Evans (Robert), Jacqueline Melanson (Randy), all of Moncton, Katherine Price (Leslie), Miramichi; sons, Robert (Marie Paul Magee), Michael (Paula), John (Stacey), Richard (Louisa), all of Moncton; 19 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, predeceased by his wife, Barbara (Cook) (1999); sister, Thora; brother, Maurice. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Tuesday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral Mass, St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Dominion St., Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 11:00 am. Reception following the Mass. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
