Minnie E. Briggs Minnie E. Briggs, 87, of McNair Manor, Riverview and formerly of Lutes Mountain, with her family at her side, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, July 1, 2008. Born in Stilesville, she was the daughter of the late Zephaniah and Laura (Hall) Wilbur. Minnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who thoroughly enjoyed cooking many meals for her family and friends. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed travelling extensively throughout North America with Martin and spending 27 years wintering in Florida. Her hobbies included cooking (excellent), gardening, knitting, reading, but first and foremost, spending quality time with her family and friends. Minnie will be sadly missed by her daughters, Kayle Eno (Tom), Grand Barachois, Esther Miller (Steve), Riverton, WY; Gram to Shane Eno (Selena Davidson), Mahone Bay, NS, Ryan Miller, Charlotte, NC, Jolene Osborne (Ryan), Cody, WY; great grandchildren, Ellie and Emmett; several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Martin E. Briggs (October 2007); grandson, Darren Eno (1982); sisters, Lottie, Allie, Addie and Effie; brothers, Bill, Ted, Albert and Dean. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday, 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, July 4, 2008, 1:30 pm, Rev.
