G.L. Gordon Cassidy G.L. Gordon Cassidy, 94, of Lakeview Manor, Riverview and formerly of Woodland Dr., Moncton, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Born in Clover Hill, he was the son of the late Allen and Edith (Freeman) Cassidy. Gordon was a retired Vice Principal at Moncton High School, with 34 years service. He was a faithful member of St. John's United Church and served his church on various boards and committees in past years. Gordon will be sadly missed by his sons, Gordon, Kingston, ON, Douglas, Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Talli, Michael, Timothy, Jessica and Adam; stepdaughter, Cynthia Dawson, Kingston, ON. In addition to his parents, predeceased by his wife, Mildred (Long) Cassidy (1992); brother, Stanley. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
