Margaret (Peggy) Hamilton The death of Peggy Hamilton of Charlo, occurred suddenly in Ottawa on July 17th at the age of 83. Born in Nash Creek,she was the daughter of the late Edgar Black & Rita (Hamilton). She was a dedicated member of Zion's Women's Group and a long standing member of the Church Choir. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved her family. She spent the last few years travelling between NB and Ont. enjoying the company of friends and family. Peggy is survived by her children, Gloria MacLean (Donald) of Charlo, Barbara Hughes (Wayne) of Smith Falls, Ont, Harvey (Theresa) of Blackland, Joan Turnbull of Ottawa, Elva LaPointe (Charles) of Charlo; twelve grandchildren & eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Harvey,Gordon & Donald; as well as her sisters, Helen Black & Ruby Searle. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Wilson, sons Gary & Brian and a sister Nancy Her funeral will be held from Zion United Church,New Mills,Wednesday afternoon at 2 with visitation at MacMillans Funeral Home, Tuesday evening from 7 to 9.
