James B. Hickey (Jim) 1956-2008 SCOUDOUC - James Hickey, 52, a loving and devoted husband and father passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 22 after a sudden illness. Born in Moncton, NB, on March 10th, 1956, he was the son of Vincent Hickey and the late Rita Connors. He is survived by his loving wife, and soul mate, Janet Saulnier; three sons, Jimmy, Jason and Justin at home; one daughter, Jennifer Hickey of Grand Prairie, AB; two brothers, Mike Hickey (Hélène), Shawn Hickey (Joanne) both of Scoudouc; three sisters, Harriett Oulton (David) of Sackville, NB, Charlotte McDonald (Jim) of Lewisville, Joanne Korman (Steve) of Halifax, NS. Jim will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by one brother, Patrick. At the request of the family, there will be no visiting time at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Mercy in Pointe-du-Chêne on Saturday, July 26th, at 10:30am.
