Irene Landry Irene Landry, 94, wife of the late Raymond Landry, of Villa Providence, Shediac, NB passed away peacefully in the early morning of Friday, July 25, 2008. Born February 2, 1914 in St-Cyrille, Kent Co., NB., she was the daughter of the late Mélas and Henriette (LeBlanc) Roy. She is survived by her four sons, Normand (Yvonne Bourgeois) of Moncton, Paul (Marie-Claire Vézina) and Victor (Rose-Marie Richard) all of Dieppe, Ronald (Donna Gould) of Pte-Claire, Quebec; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Grégoire, Nathalie, Mathieu, Stéphanie, Véronique, and Alexandre; four great-grandchildren, Miriam, Geneviève, Magalie, Caroline; and many nieces and nephews. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Joseph, Laura, Joséphine, Alyre, Béatrice, Cécile, Prospère, and Jeanne. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). The funeral mass will be held Tuesday July 29, 2008 at 11am from Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. Church, Murphy Avenue, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. Visiting hours: Monday July 28, 2008 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Tuesday from 10am until time of departure (10:45).
