Rene Thibeault Rene Thibeault, 84, of Moncton formerly of Baie Ste Anne, NB passed away peacefully early Friday, August 1st at the Moncton City Hospital with his loving family by his side after a lengthy illness. Born in Baie Ste Anne, NB he was the son of the late Angus and Julie (Richard) Thibeault. He joined the army at 19 and was stationed in North Bay Ontario. He was a truck driver most of his life which he loved doing. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion branch #3 (Chatham) and he attended St Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste Anne, NB. He will be missed by his wife of 52 years, Betty; his only daughter, Julie (Ralph); granddaughter Mandy; grandson, Kirk and great-granddaughter Ashely. He was the only brother to Marie (Octave) Duplessis, Phobe (Eugene) McIntyre, Yvonne (Jim) McIntyre and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Emelda (Alden) Lloyd, and one half-sister Barbara (Evy) Schofield (Chatham). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday August 6th at 4pm from St Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste Anne. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
