Marion Annie (Fenton) Black 1920-2008 Marion Annie Black, 88, of Forest Dale Home, Riverside-Albert passed away on August 16, 2008 at the nursing home with her loving family by her side. Marion was born in Germantown on May 5, 1920, the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Martin) Fenton. She was a faithful member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Marion was a very devoted mother and grandmother, her family meant everything to her. She loved to cook and enjoyed a good game of cards. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren always wanting to hear what was happening in their lives, they were all her pride and joy. She was a very special lady whose smile and gentle ways will never be forgotten. She will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Mabel McKinley (Marvyn) of Riverview, Shirley Simkins (Ralph) of Lower Coverdale and Sandra Nelson (Cerdic) of Riverside-Albert; her son, Bernard Black (Linda) of Curryville; her several cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild; brother, Leonard Fenton of Riverside-Albert; sister-in-law, Ardith Fenton of Moncton. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and by all of Russell's family. Besides her parents, Joseph and Sarah she was predeceased by her step mother, Susan (Duffy) Fenton; her beloved husband, Russell W. Black ; son Reginald Fenton; brother, Clement Fenton; sister, Mildred Fenton and by four step brothers, George, James, Francis and Vincent Duffy. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Parish Prayers and a time of sharing memories will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 8:30pm. The funeral mass will be held at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Riverside-Albert on Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 at 11am with Father Phil Mulligan officiating. Interment will be held in the Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Hill. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Riverside-Albert Recreation Center for further fellowship and refreshments. For those who wish, donations to the Holy Ghost Cemetery Fund or to the charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
