69, Westmount It is with heavy hearts and loving memories we are sadden to announce the passing of Ralph Gregory Walker on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, after a brief battle with cancer, one week before his 70th birthday. Ralph was employed by KFC, Sydney River for 35 years. He was a former bartender at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 12, Sydney, and had worked for CN Railway. He leaves to mourn his loving family, John A. MacNeil, Valerie (Malcolm), Carol (Johnny), Darlene (Derrick), Brian (Sharon), Gail (Kenny), Karen (Brian); numerous nieces, nephews, greatnieces and nephews, his beloved cats, Holly and Dusty; and his best friend, John Stevens. Ralph was predeceased by Viola MacNeil. Visitation for the late Ralph Walker will take place today (Monday, Nov. 10) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Sheldon Chant officiating.
