80, Mira Road Celene Landry, 80, of Landry Crescent, Mira Road, passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at her residence. Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Dorcas (Cook) MacIsaac. She was a member of Immaculate Heart parish, Mira Road. Celene is survived by her daughter, Terry (John) Nicholson, at home; sons, David (Carol), John (Donna); daughters-in-law, Glenda Landry and Debbie MacKinnon, all of Sydney; sisters, Isabel Flynn, Kingston, Ont., Lillian Weatherhead, Barrie, Ont., Patricia (Wally) Travis, Halifax; brother, Ronald (Diane), Kingston, Ont.; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Celene was predeceased by her husband, James A., sons, Fred and James, sister, Mildred Kempt, brothers, George Davidson, Jim Davidson and Bernie MacIsaac. Visitation will be held Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Sydney Memorial Chapel. Funeral mass will take place Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Mira Road, with Rev. Gerald Dunphy officiating. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
