Rose V. Lloyd 1929-2008 Miramichi - Rose Veronica Lloyd, wife of Michael Lloyd, of Bridgeview Drive, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Monday morning, August 25, 2008, at the age of 79. Born in Douglastown, on February 8,1929, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Bridget E. (Driscoll) Keoughan. She was a homemaker and a former employee of C. Smith & Sons Building Supplies Ltd. She attended St. Samuels Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi. She is survived by her husband, Michael; one daughter, Mary Lloyd, of Moncton; three sons, George Lloyd (Lynn), of Miramichi and Charles Lloyd (Lesley), of Sylvan Lake, Alberta and William Lloyd (Lucie), of Ottawa, Ont.; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret Anderson, Agnes Keoughan-Lynch (Ray), Rita Wrigley and Ann Clark (Les), all of Miramichi; one brother, John Keoughan, of B.C. ; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was prececeased by one sister, Jean Goguen; seven brothers, Daniel, James, Benjamin, Francis, Vincent, Lawrence, and Edward Keoughan. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, Miramichi, on Wednesday only, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Samuels Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi, on Thursday, August 28, 2008, at 11 am, conducted by Father Maurice Swift. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Please note, vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, at 7 pm.
