Herbert Olsen 1932 - 2008 Herb passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital from a lengthy illness on Saturday September 6, 2008 with his wife by his side. Born in Bayfield, NB, son of the late John and Lillian (Lane) Olsen. He will be sadly missed by his wife Donna (Dobson) of 54 years, two sons, Greg Olsen and Chris Olsen (Jennifer Goodwin) of Moncton, one grandson, Jack, the light of his life. He is also survived by two sisters, Theresa (Olsen) Lane, Dorothy (Olsen) Lane and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Herb was predeceased by two brothers; Albert and Edwin, two sisters; Hilda Peers and Edith (Olsen) MacGlashin. Herb moved to the US in 1963, worked on many different jobs and then he became a locksmith for 13 years. Returned to Canada in 1983 became self employed as a Locksmith for 14 years. Before that he traveled across Canada on Construction and retired in 1998. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 from the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 2:00 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Remembrances in Herb's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Moncton Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
