Norma A.M. McKnight 1944 - 2008 Miramichi - Norma Ann Marie McKnight, wife of Robert McKnight, of South Napan Road, Miramichi, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital, on Thursday, September 25, 2008, at the age of 64. Born in Saint John, on May 17, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William and Alice Whelan. She was a homemaker and a former Ward Aid at Mount Saint Joseph. She attended St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi. She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Mary Bliss (Charles), of Fredericton; three sons, Allan (Jennifer) of Moncton, Bobby (Jennifer), and William (April), both of Brampton, Ontario; one granddaughter, Maddie Bliss; one brother, Michael Whelan, of Red Deer, Alberta. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Sunday, September 28, 2008, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Vigil prayers were held at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:50, led by Father John Fraser. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Monday, September 29, 2008, at 10 am, with Father John Fraser officiating.
