Robert Gaudet 1943 - 2008 Robert Gaudet, 65, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 at his residence. Born in Dieppe, NB, he was the son of Nelsie (née: Blanchard) and the late William Gaudet. Prior to his retirement, Robert worked as a welder for B & G Sprinkler, Paul's Welding and Robertson's Machinery. He was a 30 year member of the Champlain Group, active in the Laubach Literacy Group for over 10 years and was a member of the "Common Front for Social Justice". He also enjoyed his weekly card games with the Acme Group. Besides his mother, Nelsie; he is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wanda; three sons: Bob (Cindy), Wally (Monette) and Joey; eight sisters: Geneva (Leonard), Diane, Cecile (Albert), Marie, Jeanne (Pat), Linda, Simonne (Pete) and Gloria (Louis); one brother, Al (Eileen); five grandchildren: John, Ashley, Matthew, Krystine and Erin; as well as, several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was pre- deceased by one brother, Paul. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB 857-1901, on Thursday, October 2nd, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, October 3rd, 2008 at 10 am. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
