Margaret Jean Lachambre 1924 - 2008 It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Lechambre after a lengthy illness on September 28. A native of the Miramichi, Jean was predeceased by her husband Red Lachambre, earlier this summer. Jean is survived by her children, Paul (Laura) of Vancouver, Debbie Lawson (Chuck) of Vancouver, Rick of Calgary, as well as grandchildren Bonnie (Aaron), Tyler, Hayley, Joshua, Sam, Lucas and a great-granddaughter Abigail. Jean is also survived by her brother, Fred Moar and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jean was a loving wife, a dedicated mother and a loyal friend. The light of her life was her grandchildren and each of them hold her in very special place in their hearts . Jean also cared beyond the realm of family with her support of many worthwhile causes to help children. A memorial mass will be held at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church 306 Water St on Thursday October 2nd at 11am with Fr Bob Maguire officiating. Reception to follow.
