L. Patricia "Pat" McCleary At 10:55pm on Thursday, October 9, 2008, the skies opened up with tears of joy as Louise Patricia McCleary left this world to join her parents, George and Annabelle MacLeod, peacefully at The Moncton Hospital, with her loving family at her side, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, Pat was employed with NB School District #2 as a bus attendant for special needs students. She was a member of The Red Hat Society, member of the Moncton chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and was the editor of the local Cystic Fibrosis newsletter. She enjoyed playing cards, scrabble, watching TV, working with crafts, bartending and catering and quality time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Pat will be sadly missed by her sons, Tony, Bedford, NS, Tim (Sandra), Moncton; grandchildren, Holly, Jeff, Taylor, Brooke, Liam; great granddaughter, Madison; as well as a great grandson, Landyn, whom she will never know; former husband and best friend, Walter McCleary; sisters, Irene Masters (late Norm), Jean Cameron (late Ron), Blanche Doyle (Allan), Vivian Smith (late Bill), Evelyn Pyke (Bud), Joyce Price (Dave), Barbara Steeves (John), Sharon Oulette (Bob), all of Moncton; brothers, Harold MacLeod (late Erma), George MacLeod (Patti), both of Moncton, Gary MacLeod (Val), Toronto; several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Monday, 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm.
