Verna D. Egers 1930-2008 Verna D. Egers, wife of Maxwell Egers of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, October 13th 2008. Born in Fredericton, she was the daughter of the late Allen F. and Maude (Piercey) Butler. She is survive by her husband Max, son, Kevin (Enid); daughters, Doreen Breau (Paul), Mary Ellen; sister, Helen Dorcas; grandchildren; Todd, Jill, Corey, Matthew and Andrew; great grandchildren, Madison and Parker; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Keith (1955); brothers, Leslie and Lawrence Butler; sisters, Deloris Jones and Dorothy Pringle. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, with visitation on Wednesday, October 15th from to 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 16th at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel, Reverend Brent Ham officiating. A reception for Verna's friends and family will be held in the Garden View Reception Room following the service. Interment in Newcastle Bridge Cemetery.
