Emelie Surette 1914 - 2008 Emelie Surette, 94, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, NB, formerly of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, October 17th, 2008 at her residence. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Zoel and the late Arzelie (née: Cormier) LeBlanc. Mrs. Surette had been a member of the Club d'Age d'Or de Dieppe, C.W.L. and a parishioner of Ste-Thérèse R.C.C. She is survived by two sons; Paul (Hélène Camiré) of Dieppe and David (Charline) of Burlington, ON; 4 grandchildren; Julie, Daniel, Joël and Anne-Marjolaine as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Surette was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert; two sisters; Jeanne and Estelle and also by one brother, Alphonse "Boy". Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Sunday, October 19th, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and on Monday from 12:30 pm until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérère Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Monday, October 20th, 2008 at 1:30 pm.
