Edgar LeBlanc
Edgar LeBlanc 1937 - 2008 Edgar LeBlanc, 71, of Sainte-Anne de Kent, passed away on Friday October 17th, 2008 at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax after a lengthy illness. Married to Donalda (McIntyre) LeBlanc, he was born in Sainte-Anne de Kent on October 14th, 1937 to the late Donat and the late Julie (Babineau) LeBlanc. Edgar was a longtime fisherman in Cote Sainte-Anne, where he fished lobster, scallop, mackerel and others. He leaves to mourn him his wife Donalda, his four children, Lucille Theriault (Eric) of Baie Sainte-Anne, Gisèle LeBlanc (Fernand Allain) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, Angèla LeBlanc (Raymond) of Rexton, Sylva of Sainte-Anne de Kent, six sisters, Catherine Melanson (John), Maria Berthe (Rhaoul) both of Sainte-Anne de Kent, Viola Savoie, Pauline Langil (Mike) both of Richiboucto-Village, Laura Nowlan (Mel) of Calgary, Sara Smith of Pugwash, NS, two brothers, Roger (Noël Ange), Henri (Ginette) both of Richiboucto-Village, seven grandchildren, Hayley, Taylor, Dylan, Alexandre, Krysten, Jean-Yves, Elise, one great grandson, Noah and several nephews and nieces. Edgar was predeceased by his brother, Sylva. Visitation will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church slumber room on Monday October 20th, from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Church on Tuesday October 21st, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Edgar's memory donations can be made to the family.
