Leontine Meunier
Leontine Meunier 1921 - 2008 Leontine Meunier, 87, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Wednesday, November 12th 2008 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, she was the daughter of the late Honoré and the late Lina (née: Arseneau) Landry. Mrs. Meunier was owner of Lee's Restaurant in Cap-Pelé during the 1940's and later worked and retired from L.T. Enterprise. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and treasured visits she received from family and friends and was also a parishioner of Ste-Thérèse R.C.C. She is survived by one daughter, Thérèse (Louis) Meunier-Levesque of Dieppe; one son, Charlie (Norma) Arsenault of Toronto; four sisters, Rebecca Bourque of Shediac, Sylvie Saulnier of Cap Pelé, Rina (late Léandre) Lirette of Barachois and Edith (Alphée) LeBlanc of Dieppe; one brother, Alcide (Cecile) Landry of Cap Pelé; three sisters-in-law, Thérèse Landry, Dorice Landry, both of Cap-Pelé and Anita Meunier of Dieppe; one brother-in-law, Amedée Leger of Barachois as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 2000; three sisters, Léa, Yvonne and Stella; and also by two brothers, Alonzo and Gélas. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm; on Friday from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Saturday, November 15th 2008 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
