Jean ''Johnny'' Boudreau 1937 - 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean ''Johnny'' Boudreau, 71, of Shediac on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a courageous battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Scherosis, also known as Lou Gehrig Disease. Born July 30, 1937 in Shediac, he was the son of the late Valérie and Pélagie ''Peggy'' (Bourque) Boudreau. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Célia (Landry) Boudreau, their five children, Janice Boudreau (Guy Hébert) of Bouctouche, Michel, Jean-Pierre (Roxanne Bourgeois) and Stéphane (Annie Landry) all of Shediac, and Patrice (Claire Audet) of Dieppe; six grandchildren whom he adored, Daniel, Éric, Meagan, Jamie, Marie-Eve and Isabelle; four brothers, Francis ''Frank'' (Jean) of Pointe du Chêne, Louis (Anne) and Benoit (Majella) both of Grande-Digue, and Maurice (Karen) of Shediac; two sisters, Marie-Jeanne O'Brien (Alyre) of Shediac, Anita Boudreau (Aurèle) of Gatineau, QC; many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by a son in law Pierre Boudreau. In the early 60's, Jean was an insurance agent for Assomption Vie and Industriel Insurances, from 1976 - 1986 he was business development agent for Pizza Delight Corporation, and from 1987 - 2008 a Residential and Commercial real estate agent. Visitation at Maison funéraire Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure 10:50 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2008 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
