Paul J. Richard 1925 - 2008 Paul J. Richard 82 of Moncton, NB passed away on Wednesday, November 19th, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Moncton, NB, Paul was the son of the late Thadée & Elise (Bastarache) Richard. He spent most of all his life in Moncton. He loved to bowl and watch sports on TV, an avid Boston Red Sox's & Montreal Canadian Fans. Paul will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Corinne (Koko) Springer (Gary Gallant) of Shediac, NB, and Lucille Colpitts (Allan) of Colpitts Settlement, NB; 5 grandchildren & 1 step granddaughter, Michelle Eaton (James) of Toronto, Ont., Joey Springer of Edmonton, Alberta, Brittany, Danielle & Benjamin Colpitts all of Colpitts Settlement, NB, Chantal Carroll of Shediac; 1 great grandchild, Rowan of Toronto, Ont. He is also survived by 5 sisters, Jeanne McGrath, Corinne LeBlanc & Marie Mazerolle (Fred) all of Moncton, NB, Bertha Bourque (Francis) & Diane McLaughlin (Edgar) all of Waltham, Mass., USA; 3 brothers, Robert (Louise) Richard of Shediac Bridge, Antoine Richard & Raymond (Linda) Richard all of Moncton. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews and a special friend, Fred Taylor. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his wife Elise in 2002. Visitation will be held at Maison Funéraire Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, November 21st, 2008 from 7h00-9h00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Notre-Dames-de-Grâce RC Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Saturday, November 22nd, 2008 at 11h00 am with father Jean-Guy Dallaire officiating. Burial to take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
