Sharon Ann Woodard 1950-2008 Sharon Ann Woodard, 58, of Hillsborough passed away peacefully on November 24, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital. Sharon was born in Surrey, Albert County, on September 23, 1950 the daughter of the late Donald and Marjorie (Jonah) Smith. Sharon loved times spent with her family. Her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. She also enjoyed gardening and all types of flowers. She had a knack for decorating for the seasons and really enjoyed her last job, working at Andrew's Cottage, which gave her the opportunity to share her decorating skills. She was a very special lady who will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Gary Sr. ; her daughter, Christine Bannister; son, Gary Woodard Jr. (Stephanie); her five precious grandchildren, Samantha, Raelina, Angella, Jessica and Amber and by her sister, Sheila Leygraaf (Gerard) all of Hillsborough. She will also be missed by all of Gary's family. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, November 27th, 2008 at 2:00pm with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Interment will be held in the Grey's Island Cemetery, Hillsborough at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
