Joseph "Jos" Bourque 1930 - 2008 Joseph (Jos) Bourque, age 78, at his residence in Notre-Dame de Kent, has passed away, after a lengthy illness on Friday, December 5, 2008. Married to Aurelda (Pellerin) Bourque, he was born in Notre-Dame de Kent on August 18, 1930, to the late Fred and the late Sara (Robichaud) Bourque. Joseph worked as a carpenter by trade. He is survived by his wife Aurelda; two daughters, Anne Bourque, 0f Owen Sound, ON and Lucille Rettie (William) of Bracebridge, ON; two sons; Roger (Diane) and Gérard (Gisèle) both of Notre-Dame; three sisters, Dorilla Cormier (Néri) of Cocagne, Thérèse Currie (Jimmy) of Edmonton, AB and Marie Melanson (Raymond) of Sarnia, ON; four grandchildren, Jacques, Daniel, Stephen and Ryan, five great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Joseph was predeceased by two brothers, Edouard and Henri. Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame, on Tuesday December 9, 2008 from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 3:45. Funeral mass will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur Church, Notre-Dame Church, on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 4 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Joseph's memory donations can be made to the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Foundation - Oncology.
