Ella Mae Matthews 1938 - 2008 Ella Mae Matthews wife of Clyde, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 6th, 2008. Born in Wheaton Settlement, NB April 28th, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Lena Gammon. She is survived by her husband Clyde Matthews of Miramichi, daughter Shelley Wilson (Jeff) Riverview, NB, sons Michael Gammon Maine, USA and Sonny Steeves Memramcook, NB, step-daughter Ann Leggatt (Eddie), grandchildren Haleigh and Michael, Jade, Marrissa, Kassandra, Tiffani, great grandchildren Zachary, three step-grand children, little Eddie, Sara, Sam, sisters, Eva MacLeod (Robert), Kay Price (Joe), Phyllis Goguen (Ernie), Debbie Carter ( Brian), brothers, Sherman Gammon and Sterling Gammon. Pre-deceased by one brother, Stewart Gammon. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday December 10th from 7 to 9 pm, and Thursday December 11th, from 12:00 to 1pm. The service will be held at 1:00 pm at Fair Haven Funeral Home Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Cross Roads for Women.
