Beatrice Gauvin 1917 - 2008 Beatrice Gauvin, 91, of Résidence du Marais, formerly of Sainte-Croix Street, Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, December 5th, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Haute Aboujagane, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and the late Regina (née: Gallant) Cormier. Mrs. Gauvin was the former owner of the Dieppe Confectionery and Bakery and a parishioner of Ste.-Thérère Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by two daughters: Odette (Jim) Humes of Moncton and Germaine Jesso of Halifax, NS; two sons: Claude of Dieppe and Omer (Muriel) of Scoudouc: two sisters: Diana (late Marcel) Cormier of Montréal, QC and Marceline (Arthur) Goguen of Cocagne; two brothers: Emery (Jeanne) Cormier of Joliette, QC and Léo-Paul Cormier of Shediac Cape; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis in 1968, two sisters: Mathilda and Cecile and also by three brothers: Albert, Joseph and Dollard. A private funeral service was held. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire cemetery, Dieppe NB. Donation to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hosital Foundation "Oncology" would be appreciated by the family.
