Mary E. McCully Mary E. McCully, 87 of Moncton and formerly of Victoria, NS, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, December 22, 2008. Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Mosher) Murphy. Mary attended St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, was a graduate of Highlandview Hospital School of Nursing, Amherst (1940-43) and was a retired Evening Nursing Supervisor at The Moncton Hospital with over 35 years service. Her hobbies included reading, camping and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary will be sadly missed by her sons, Brian (Donna), Paul (Heather), Gordon (Jeff), all of Moncton; grandchildren, Colin (Kristal), Jaclyn, Wendy, Kendra; sisters, Barbara Gordon, Truro, NS, Eileen Murphy (Sharon), Victoria, NS; stepbrother, Robb Colborne (Shirley), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her husband, Whitney R. McCully (1996); infant son, Whitney Jr.; brother, Alfred. No visitation by personal request. Funeral mass, St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Wednesday, December 24, 2008, 11:00 am, Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception following the mass.
