Arthur Sonier

Arthur Sonier 1936 - 2008 Arthur Sonier, 72, of Saint-Antoine, has passed away on Wednesday December 24th, 2008 at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Married to Betty Cormier, he was born in Bouctouche on September 19th, 1936 to the late Joseph and the late Ida (LeBlanc) Saulnier. Arthur leaves to mourn him, his two sons, James (Liz) of North Carolina, Armand (Nancy) of Saint-Antoine, six grandchildren, Samantha, Michael, Nathan, Daniel, Alexandre, and Nadia. He also leaves seven sisters, Madeleine LeBlanc of Bradford, ON, Laura Cormier (Aurèle), Diane Cormier (Normand) both of Saint-Antoine, Irène Cormier of Moncton, Maria LeBlanc (Yvon) of Saint-Joseph de Kent, Stella LeBlanc (Roger) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Jeannine Thebeau (Léon) of Irishtown, six brothers, Alphée (Rose-Marie) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Gerard (Benita), Laurie (Andréa), Gerald (Annette) all of Saint-Joseph de Kent, Ronald (Cathy) of Montana, Joseph (Berthe) of McKee's Mill, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one sister Marie, and one brother, Jean-Paul. Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l'Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Sunday December 28th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and on Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine l'Ermite Church on Monday December 29th, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
