Gwendolyn Anne (Boyd) Clouston 1922 - 2008 Gwen Clouston passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, December 27, 2008 with her daughters by her side. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred Boyd. She will be sadly missed by four daughters; Nicola Boyd-Clouston, Beverly LeBlanc (Eddie), Sandra Gibson (Jamie) and Janet Clouston (Angie), grandchildren; Lisa Johnson, Adam, Matthew and Alex LeBlanc, Greg and Sarah Gibson and great grandchildren; Brooke, Dylan and Lauryn. She is also survived by her brother Dr. George MacBeath (Marie) and her sister Dawn Wiggins (John). She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Clouston (2003) and granddaughter Amy LeBlanc (1978). Gwen was an active community member involved in the "39 Club", Air Force Veterans and CNR War Veteran's Clubs and United Church Women. Her favorite activities involved family and friends, with many happy summers spent at the cottage at Caissie Cape. The cottage was Gwen and Bill's happy place and their annual "Lobster Do" was a must attend event. We will continue to enjoy the cottage as a family for years to come. Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A celebration of Gwen's life will be held at Fairhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton (506) 852-3530 on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow in the Garden View Reception Room. A special heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Moncton Hospital Acute Care Department and the loving support received from the staff of 5100.
