Georges Cormier 1922 - 2009 Georges Cormier, 86, of Saint- Grégoire, has passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 20th, 2009 at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent. Born in Bouctouche on May 12th, 1922, he was the son of the late Philias and the late Emma (Girouard) Cormier. Georges was a jeweler and he belonged to the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche. He is survived by three sisters, Lisa Cormier of Caraquet, Corinne Cormier of Bouctouche, Andréa Maillet (Alonzo) of Saint-Thomas de Kent, two brothers, Albénie (Blondine) of Bouctouche, and Joseph (Florence) of Siant-Grégoire, and several nephews and nieces. Georges was predeceased by three sisters, Rosa, Lilianne, Maria, and three brothers, Dismas, Gerald, and Abbé. Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Wednesday January 21st, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Thursday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Thursday January 22nd, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
