Idella M. Abbott 1916- 2009 Idella Mae Abbott passed away on Thursday, January 22 2009 at the age of 92. Born in Dartmouth, NS, she resided in Riverview, NB for the last 15 years. She is survived by daughters; Marlene Stuart of Riverview and Joan (Edward) Verge of Dartmouth; grandchildren Susan Stuart and Lynda (Bruce) Hicks of Riverview and Todd (Janine) Verge and Mary (Scott) Keeping as well as seven great grandchildren; Savannah and Eric Hicks, Katie and Ella Verge, Ryan, William, and Abigail Keeping. Also surviving is a sister Dorothy Everhill, sister-in-law; Irene Weagle and brother-in-law Carl Duncan. She was predeceased by her husband; W. Eric Abbott, sister; Elsie Duncan brother Vernon Weagle; brother-in-law Frank Everhill and son-in-law; Alex Stuart. A funeral service will be held in Atlantic Funeral Home Chapel, 771 Main St., Dartmouth on Monday, January 26th, at 2:00 pm followed by a reception. Burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
