Travis Todd "Shabby" Tower 1967 - 2009 Travis" Shabby" Tower , 41, of Germantown passed away after an accident on January 31, 2009 while driving his snowmobile on the trails of Albert County after colliding with a moose. Travis was born in Moncton on July 12, 1967 the son of the late Wallace and Gladys (Hawkes) Tower. He was a fisherman, being 1st Mate on the Fundy Dancer. He loved four wheeling and snowmobiling. His favorite pastime was holding down the bench at the corner store in Alma, he always knew what was going on in the community. He was known for his great sense of humour and also for being outspoken - giving his opinions whether you wanted them or not. There was no guessing when it came to what Shabby thought about a situation. He took great pleasure in teasing and tormenting his many nieces and nephews. Above all things he was a special brother and uncle, taking care of his family was a priority, whenever he was needed they could count on him. He will live on in their hearts forever. "When a loved one becomes a memory. A memory becomes a treasure. Treasure the memories." Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant sister, Kelly Dawn. He will be deeply missed by his brother and sisters; Gerry (Joanne) of Riverside-Albert, Kenny (Kathy) of Alma, Jeff of Germantown, Sandy (Norm) of Ontario, Jackie of Germantown, David of Germantown and Gene (Wendy) of Moncton; and by his several cherished nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 2:00pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. Interment will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill in the spring. For those who wish, donations to the Riverside-Albert Volunteer Fire Department or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
