Regina Barbara Whelan 1931 - 2009 WHELAN - Regina Barbara. Born April 10, 1931, Oderin, Placentia Bay, NL. Died Moncton, NB February 8, 2009. Daughter of the late Thomas and Magdalen Bailey. Survived by her sister Mary Hurley; husband Kevin; children, John and Stacey, Kevin and Louise, Chris and Lorraine, Paula and Cyril, Tony and Dorothy, Michael and Anne Marie; grandchildren, Regina, Daniel, Stephen, Edward, Ian, Jessica, Benjamin, Emily, Janet and Laura. Predeceased by daughters, Regina (1970) and Janet (1980). Also remembered by a large circle of other family and friends. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Passage Funeral Co-operative. Visitation will take place Tuesday, February 10, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Augustine's Church, Mountain Road. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11: 30 am on Wednesday, February 11. Memorial service to be held in St. John's NL at a later date. In Regina's memory, donations may be made to Salvation Army OK-Kids program.
