Eladee G. Sprague Eladee G. Sprague, 88, of ProTem Health Services, Moncton, with her family at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, February 9, 2009. Born in McQuades, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred (Budd) McConnell. Eladee was a retired bookkeeper and an adherent of the Moncton Wesleyan Church. She was a member of the first graduating class of Moncton High School (1936) and a graduate of Oulton's Business College. A former Sunday School teacher, she enjoyed studying and received a degree in Theology. With her husband, Russell, they enjoyed 35 years of winter vacations in Daytona Beach. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, cryptoquotes, reading, knitting, studying and spending time with her friends and family. Eladee will be sadly missed by her daughters, Elva Kennie (Robert), Moncton, Eva Haddix (Jim), Creamery, PA; grandson, Brent, Philadelphia; granddaughters, Daniela and Erika, Moncton; sisters, Vila Hopper (Ralph), Moncton, Kitty Steeves (Douglas), Gladeside, Gwen Hicks (late Harvey), Moncton; brothers, Hinson McConnell (Doreen), Victoria Road, Curtis McConnell (late Joyce), Dundas, Winston Budd (Wanda), Saint John; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her husband, Russell J. Sprague (November 2007). Visitation, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday, 7 to 9 pm.
