Marie ''Rita'' Boudreau 1922 - 2009 Marie ''Rita'' Boudreau, formerly of Lewisville 86, wife of the late Émile J. Boudreau passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009 at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton. Born September 16, 1922 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Séraphine (Cormier) Bourgeois. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed family and friends dropping in for a meal or visit. Her door was always open. She leaves to mourn her son Richard (Heather) and their children, Tina, Evan, Adam and great grandson Nathan all of Halifax, NS, Ronald (Cheryl) and their children, Jeremiah, Michael, and Kevin all of Saint Grégoire, NB, and daughter Susan of Moncton; her brother Clarence Bourgeois (late Rita Bastarache) of Notre-Dame, five sisters: Florine Poirier (late Gérald) of Langley, BC, Claudia MacLaren (late Ron) of Jonquière, QC, Gérène Poirier (late Raymond) of Kitchener, ON, Bernice Gallant (Ronald) of Saint-Jean-sur- Richelieu, QC, Huberte ''Betty'' Nicolle (Nick) of Moncton, and by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Émile J., she is also predeceased by son Donald, sister Louise and two brothers, Euclide and Gérard Bourgeois. She was past President of the Beauséjour Ladies Curling Club, past President of the Ladies Auxiliary Club, and past volunteer at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital. She was very active in various groups for children with special needs. She spent countless hours with her daughter Susan volunteering at dances, bowling, swimming and the Special Olympics. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Saint Louis de France Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. There will be no visiting hours at the funeral home. Cremation under the direction of Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton (858-1900).
