Raymond Eric Stevens 1930-2009 The death of Raymond Eric Stevens occurred at his residence in Shediac Bridge on Friday, February 13th, 2009 at the age of 78. Born June 30th, 1930 in London, England, he was the son of the late Charles and Elsie Stevens. He is survived by his children: Gail Stevens (Craig Mortimer) of Oshawa, ON, David (Kim) Stevens of Shediac and Richard Stevens of Moncton, his sister, Wendy Baker of King's Lynne, England and a brother, Allan Stevens of Little Clacton, England; and by two grandchildren: Tyler and Gabrielle. He was predeceased by wife Peggy (Forrester) Stevens in 2002. Active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 33, Shediac. Prior to his retirement, Raymond was a member of the Royal Air Force and the Royal Canadian Armed Forces, stationed in Africa, India, Egypt, Cypress, England, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, New Brunswick, Germany, Ontario and Nova Scotia. Claudia Keller officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Shediac. A Legion last post service will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday evening, 7pm.
