Elvina Daigle 1919 - 2009 RICHIBUCTO, NB - Elvina Daigle 89 of Richibucto, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent, on Monday, February 16th, 2009. Born in Little Aldouane she was the daughter of the late Levis Olivier and Suzanne (Martin) Robichaud. Elvina was a homemaker whose home and arms were always open to everyone who knew her. A long time member of the C.W.L. and Church Choir sharing her beautiful singing voice for 65 years. She was a member of the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto and the Richibucto Golden Age Club. Elvina will be sadly missed by her two sons, Richard Linus Daigle (Louise) of New Maryland, Marc Daigle (Hélene) of Orleans, Ontario; 6 grandchildren; Jennifer (Trevor McLean) of Moncton, Nicole (Scott MacAfee) of Fredericton, Michael Daigle (Erinn) of Fredericton, Jean Philippe Daigle of Ottawa, Daniel Daigle of Ottawa, Mirielle of Ottawa; two great grand children, Sophie MacAfee of Fredericton, Reese McLean of Dieppe; and special sister-in-law Bertha Robichaud. Predeceased by her husband, Leon Daigle; three brothers, Elide Robichaud (Bertha), Alyre Robichaud (Shirley), and baby Tilmon (6 months). Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9, Thursday at 3:00 pm until departure for funeral. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 19th at 4:00 pm at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. If so desired donations may be made in Elvina's memory to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
