Emile Gauvin 1928 - 2009 Emile Gauvin, 80, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Tuesday, February 24th 2009 at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton, NB. Born in Saint-Philippe, NB, he was the son of the late Henry and the late Mary Anne (née: Arsenault) Gauvin. He had retired from GM in Oshawa, was a member of the Club d'Age d'Or de Dieppe and a parishioner of Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Louise (née: Donelle); two daughters, Laurie-Ann (Jeff) Summers of Oshawa, ON and Alice (Roy) Gavin of Kensington, PEI; one son, John (Janet) Gauvin of Woodstock, ON; one step-son, Paul Donelle of Centerville, NS; five sisters, Leona Davis and Edna LeBlanc, both of Dieppe, Corinne Gallant of Moncton, Marguerite (Hervé) Richard of Notre-Dame, and Alice (John) Babin of St. Petersburg, FL; two brothers, Henry (Barbara) of Dieppe and Edward (Stella) of St. Petersburg, FL; four grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters: Rita and Valma. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from the Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
