Lorraine Boudreau 1929 - 2009 Lorraine Boudreau, 80, wife of the late Léonce Boudreau formerly of Grand-Barachois passed away with her family by her side at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, March 12, 2009 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 27, 1929 in Boudreau Office, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Marie (Babineau) Boudreau. Lorraine was an active member of le club d'âge d'or in Grand-Barachois prior to her illness. Loving mother of Cécile Gaudet (Valmond) and Gisèle St. Pierre (Donald) of Grand-Barachois, Jeannine LeBlanc (Victor) of Shediac, Stella Boudreau (Donald Goguen) of St. John, Roger (Pauline) of Dieppe, Jean-Guy (Vitaline) of Boudreau West, Maurice (Sylvia) of Petit-Cap, and Roland (Charline) of Harvey Station; dear sister of Simonne LeBlanc (Alcide), Jeanne Cormier (Norman) and Louise Dupuis (Jean P.) all of Grand-Barachois, Béatrice Bourque (Georges), Andréa Boudreau (late Claude), Stella Boudreau (Jean-Loup Guérin) of Shediac, Bernice Bourque (Eugène) of Petit-Cap, Rose Rockwell (Gerry) of Lantz, N.S., Normand Boudreau (Evelyn) of Cap-Pelé, Alfred Boudreau (Simonne) of Petit-Cap and Roméo Boudreau (Marie-Jeanne) of Grand-Barachois; cherished grandmother of eighteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Léonce (June 16, 2008), a sister Gloria and by two brothers: Donald and Ronald. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2009 at Saint-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
